Friday Morning Thoughts

The bar scene in Buckhead is starting to annoy me. Why do we have to go to 5 Paces Inn every night? I guess I just need to go to church to meet chicks. Or weddings or funerals. Maybe funerals are a bit to much.

How depressing is your program when you paint of a 6-3 victory after a fumble. mailto:Seriously?!@#$!?*&^$%^!@$?? Nice blur, Danny boy.

FU:

My Friday morning FU's go out to TI's custom car shop for their inability to look at the big picture (10% is 10% so why do you look at every single price moron), ATL drivers who only know how to accelerate, shady girls, bitch office managers who think they are financial decision makers and every one of them say "oh, I take care of that, you would talk with me". No, go get president, bitch.

$, to answer your Q about RB23's Hummer....Rims, interior, stereo & accessories. Mario Williams' Hummer was supercharged and completely tricked out. Unfortunately it was gone by the time I got to see the back of the shop.

College Football News places Bama(6th in the SEC) in the Liberty Bowl and Auburn in the NC game against USC. I think we can take this rematch if the D line shows up......it is a long season though. We shall see.

Dr., do you need my extra ticket or are you set? We are good to go on picking you up from the airport as the Tarheel is driving over instead of flying.

I am ready for football. I am seriously thinking about picking up a big screen for Miss State weekend. I will drive straight from the airport to Auburn Arkansas weekend as I will be getting back from Miami late Friday. It seems to be coming up in every conversation now. I need college football back.

I guess all of you have seen this by now, but the Tide has to start it`s season on @ 6:00pm on pay-per-view. Kind of sucks...I would have loved to have seen the rainbow warriors throw all day against Bama.

I refuse to listen to Eli Gold....unless Bama is getting beat in a game. He is the worst commentator I have ever heard....most of the time, he will get so excited in his voice using a phrase like..." And Darby takes it up the middle through a GIANT HOLE AND RUMBLES FORWARD BEFORE BEING BROUGHT DOWN.....Brings up second and nine."

The funniest is when the Tide is on the losing end....this is when ELI results to making fun of the other team in any way possible. I remember when I was little (don`t remember what year it was), Auburn had an early morning game...and I had a ninety pound little league game in Anniston that we had to come back for that night. On the way home, we listened to the Bama/Penn St. game. Bama fell behind later in the game. Eli felt he needed to vent some of his disgust over the air-waves. The Bama QB through a pass that went through the end zone, and nailed a PSU cheerleader in the head. Eli said, "And the ball is thrown through the end zone, and hits a PSU cheerleader in the head. That is one UGLY cheerleader too." I will never forget that.

Eli....stick to what your good at....keep calling NASCAR racing.

By the way...Ken Stabler is always drunk on the air too. He sounds like a 12 year old boy when he talks. Shula has a slurrrrrr...especailly on his S`s.

Tell us how you really feel.

I never have to listen to his ass, but I do get Larry Munson. He can be interesting to listen to and if I was a Dawg fan I would love him.....but.....he really does a bad job of describing the action....for example:

In gruff pipe snarled voice: "The Dawgs have it 1st and 10 on their own 20 and they give the ball to little Thomas Broowwwn, he's fighting and claaaawing, look at him go, oh my gosh the kid is tough, just fighting his heart out, GRRRRRinding forward through the line.....all the way up to the 22. It will be 2nd and 8......whatchya got on the sideline Lauren?"

John Williams(I think) was good growing up listening to. My father used to turn down the volume on the TV and listen on the radio.

Andy drops back, puts it up for Carl Pickens. He's got it.

He's at the 40. Carl might go. He's at the 20-15-10-5-Touchdown Tennessee. Touchdown Big Orange! Another touchdown for Andy and Carl! Touchdown Teeeeeeenneeeeeseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Checkerboard heaven.

I played soccer at Neylan when it was still astroturf.

Did not know Bomar took 18k. Unreal.

Fyffe had some pretty good ones along the way. An old Bama classic from 1986:

I just read about this particular play in an article today about Pat Dye. Dye was trying to call a timeout from the sidelines before the ball was snapped, but nobody on the field had a clue. The wrong players were on the field for this play...including Lawyer Tillman.

"Burger...out of the I.... gonna pitch it to Jesse...and he`s gonna give it to Tillman on the end around...the 10, the 5 Tillman!!!!! He`s in!!!!!....Touchdown Auburn!!!!! Touchdown Auburn........32 seconds left...and Auburn has gone ahead 20-17."

That's a great call right there.

Anybody seen the protests in Iraq by the Hezbollah supporters. Unreal. They do not want us there, I mean 100,000+ people in the streets.

Time to get out and let them kill each other. I really don't care, let them continue the war that began 2000 years ago. There is no way to "fininsh" in Iraq. I say leave and let them all go to hell....since we all know they will be there anyway.

They were cutting their heads off 100 years ago in the desert and they will be back there in 100 years as they squander the greatest natural resource ever.

There is no end in sight. The see the pain of modern life healed by the Koran and we see it as free trade. There will be no end, ever. We actually need to make nice with Iran since they are our closest cultural ally over there.

Go watch Syriana.
