Back to Basics

I can't help it. I need it. You need it. The blog needs it. It is time to go back.....to SEC FOOTBALL.

The money line odds for the National Champion have been posted. Where in the world do they come up with these numbers?

Carolina at +9000, Bama at +5500 and Georgia and Tennessee at +3700. Auburn and Florida are +1800 and +1400. LSU is a stellar +1100, as is FSU. To put this in persepective, USC and Texas are +900. Oklahoma stands at +700 while both Notre Dame and Ohio State are at +650.

Interesting picks. 55-1 and 18-1 and 37-1. Who do you take? Who is the best bet in the SEC to make some money? The newest mascot Carolyn hopes to catch the Auuuburn Tigers.

It is an interesting world tid bit of the day.......

Spring Football Update

With Alabama and Auburn emphisising the run this spring, this will only contribute to the strongest running back conference in the nation. Irons, Darby, McFadden, Lumpkin/Brown, and AlleyB will all be strong next year. With all the great SEC backs, do any have a legit chance at 2000 and the Heisman?

Dr. and Bulldog, update from Tuscaloosa and Athens practices?

Nation, pics of the "Reclining Loosiers"??

Tate and Blackmon. Oh my.
