Oldest Rivalry in the South, the Big Easy & Corndogs

Dear fellow football fans and devoted followers,

I hope I find you in good spirits and trust you are observing the boycott of Lincoln Financial. Watching Ron Franklin's Saturday night introductions are painful with the thought of Brooks & Dunn. Any other game rocking a little country girl world is great, however this hallowed rivalry deserves better. And later.

Thursday night finds us with yet another Big Easy undefeated clash. Does the State University of New Jersey have enough firepower to hang with Brohm & Petrino? The Cards are favored by 7 with a total of 51. Which way does Wilbur turn after a victory last Thursday? I turn to Bobby as he calls a brilliant game as Brohm & Peanut show up on the field. UL wins 34-23 as the over rides again.

A complete game involves offense, defense & special teams. Auburn has played, maybe, 6 complete quarters this year. Can they put together 4 this weekend against the Bulldogs? thUGA's O-line & D-line were stoned by their Kentucky counterparts all day Saturday. Auburn is quicker on defense and better on the offensive line. This game will be decided in the trenches as "Auburn always runs the ball on Georgia". Kenny carries 16-18x if healthy, Lester 10 touches and a touch. If Auburn has any dreams of an SEC crown, now is the time to act like Georgia by hoping to backdoor yourself into the SECCG and to win out. Auburn wakes up but won't cover, 20-13. Will 3 complete quarter be enough?

Corndogs? Do you smell corndogs? How about elephant corndogs?

Alabama visits the intestines of the United States as they travel to Baton Rouge. 17??? When was the last time Bama was a 17 point dog? Maybe the last time LSU averaged 45 at home? Best D in the land? Saturday night in Death Valley will be tough on the Tide as the white jerseys return for the conference game. Riding high after a big win in front of a hundred thousand, LSU will roll. Bo Pelini will make Shula and Radar look bad, very bad. I don't see Bama scoring more than 13 points on this D. What I do see if LSU recievers running free in the Crimson secondary all night long. JR4 throws 4 TD's & the Tigers roll 35-13.

I will be taking the Wilbur Churchill Roadshow on the road to the Plains of East Alabama this weekend. I look forward to mixed drinks under Samford Hall Friday afternoon, smoking turkeys & other gameday specialties and plenty of intercollegiate fooball.

I am gonna have way to much fun.

War Damn Eagle,

Wilbur Churchill the King of Tigerland

Oh I'm here diddy!

I'm starting to get a little excited about the weekend.

Looking forward to the "special" festivities we have all come to love over the years.

My buddy Towner from Charleston is gonna be in town so it might get sort of "cloudy" if you know what I mean!

Oh yeah...

Kodi Burns, 5 star QB (run and pass) from Arky is committing at 2CT today.

It's down to AU and ARK and he is supposed to visit AU this weekend.

Can you imagine a Borges offense with a dual-threat QB, Lester, Tate, Fannin, Davis, and possibly King. not to mention Hawthorne, Zachary, Slaughter, Billings and the TE's?

Name the player who had this to say in an interview this week. Should be easy......

"Something drives me to want to play, to want to hit. It's just the want-to in my heart that drives me."

My guess Nation...Tray blackmon.

This weekend should be a lot of fun. Turkeys will start being smoked Friday morning...Tailgate will be set full with generator, lights, fire, propane heaters, etc....Bring your Alcohol, and anything you want to eat with Turkeys. We will have some stuff, but as always...the more we have, the better.

Upon Arrival to the Loveliest Village, please come to teh tailgate spot. We are planning to be out there all day Friday and well into the evening. Since the game is so early, and tailgating is a neccessity...we decided to just get it started earlier, so we can enjoy some tailgate time.

Nation- I put your dad in my last article, but the dumbasses at The Corner, took his name out of the article. He is now identified in the article as "A wise Auburn Alum from the 70s."

Is it already up on the site?

HE is gonna love it.

What did you say about him?

Shakes,
Will yall still be there when we get into town around 8:00 tomorrow night?

tigernation said...

You should bring LOTS of addy. I will need it, along with a Redbull and Vodka or 6 in order to be functional at 730 am when we kick off.

The more I think about it the more pissed I get.

Fuck UGA and Mark Riiichchchchchchchchtttcht.

Just last summer a headline in the AJC read..."DYNASTY"...........helloooooo.....dynasties don't go 6-4 after backing into the SECCG.

I hope we beat the brakes off UGA.....I'm talking 48-0. I know it won't happen and we may even lose but they deserve to get the shit beat out of them for making us, and our poor seniors, play our last home game at 11-fucking-30 in the morning.

And I plan to let every single smelly, flea-bitten UGAY fan know exactly how I feel about their shitty team, before-during-and hopefully after the game.

This post was hiding. I couldn't see it hidden in these videos.

King - I think you are giving alabama too much credit with 13 I say we put up 6. Defense scores you may get 13.

look out boys. sports illustrated cheerleader curse awaits you.

Any thoughts on Rutgers Louisville tonight.

I think Louisville beats them by 2 tds

lola said...

wilbur picked louisville and the over. i'm picking rutgers and the under. who the heck knows.

Dr.Feelgood said...

Wilbur is on a one game win streak.

That over looks nice if Louisville wins. If Rutgers controls the clock like they will try to do, the under looks nice.

lola said...

i totally agree about the over and unders. so far this week, i'm 4-1. had an epic week last week at 18-5. i did take wilbur's call last week on the over. laughed all the way to the bank today.

had no idea wvu would play that bad. hoping for louisville to be suffering the big win hangover.

Dr.Feelgood said...

Yeah I see it going both ways. I think the coin toss will be huge.

If Rutgers gets the ball first and can manage a scoring drive, I think it will put Louisville in shock and Rutgers and the under look nice.

If Louisville stops then 3 and out or gets the ball and scores fast. Louisville might lay the hammer down

My favorite is the fat kid with his arms raised high. I bet he is cheering on his newly lesbianized mom.

One time during the college years I befriended some people one night at a Mexican restaurant, One of whoms name was Carmello. A football player for some Womans team in LA. She answered her phone "Hello its Melo". Restless Legs about shat his pants when I brought Melo and her posse back to the house. Anyhow this is when I became aware of the womens league

I have caught it on TV a couple of times. The stands are always packed, just like in the video. It is seriously like watching a little league game

If you will check the actual website you will see they have brokered a broadcasting deal with Colours, the multicultural station
