3rd Annual Daily Football Fix Bowl Pick 'Ems

It all started in Auburn, AL on a piece of cardboard and has blossemed into the amazing spectacle it is today. A redhead, a Trapper, a Wilbur Churchill, a Daddy, a $, a Neil & Nigel & a Heavy B who know looks like anorexic B. My how times have changed.

24 Games starting 12.27 with UCLA/FSU. Since everyone here seems to want to go against the spread, then it shall be. Democracy is a wonderful thing.

BCS Championship...15 points
4 BCS Bowls..................10 points

19 Bowl Games.............5 points

The winner gets the Wilbur and whatever else the congregation decides.

Ladies, apologies for the belatedness & lack of posting. 2007 is gonna be a helluva year and the groundwork is being laid as we speak.

Holla,

Sir Wilbur Churchill

I understand your anguish however the names above where the originals and you were in infadel territory.

Please be comforted by the fact that in the Daily Football Fix Mount Rushmore your face is etched in the mountain between Lola & Larry.

Me Me i'm here.

Rumor is that Cox will have surgery on his knee after the bowl game

King of Tigerland said...

not suprising given his gf's picture that was lifted off facebook-there has to be some kind of cartilidge/minor ligament damage after hobbling all season--I would not be surprised if it was even drained and we dont know about it...hopefully KI will be healthy enough to roll

American industry seems to slow during the 12 days of Chistmas.

I started day dreaming earlier and the Bahamas was the destination. Imagine laying on the white sand beaches with a DFF girl, spearfishing lobster for dinner, drinking tropical drinks and then going in to watch football on the satellite TV to cap it off.

I can just feel the tradewinds blowing now.

tigernation said...

Girlfriends don't like to spear fish or watch football but since its a dream i guess anything is possible.

everyone has their own personal slice of heaven

Seminole D steps up. Buster will have them going and hopefully create turnovers for a short field. Heavens knows the FSU O needs all the help they can get. Who knows? Bobby opens up the playbook and trick plays to win outright and cover 3 backdoor.

Oh yeah!

ShakeYour$Maker said...

You can go ahead and book. Just let me know what your room number is..and I will call their office and get a room as close as possible. Pheonix All Suites West Beach...Gulf Shores Go on down Saturday, Bitch.

Roll Tide Bitches! That was one hell of a game though. Bama played hard, but stupid ass Kines couldn`t pull anymore luck out of his loose old butthole. If they had a coach, the Tide may be able to compete.

Shakes - I want to come saturday really bad but i have to work till at least 4 and that would put us down there at about 10 your time. I just don't feel like spending the money to come and have to drive back 6 hours on new years day.

We'll head out Sunday at about 730 our time and be there by noon. Plus, TwoBits' dad lives there and we are gonna eat with him on monday night.

I'm looking forward to it, can't wait.

tigernation said...

That was a tough end to a tough season DR.

I'm sure you are glad its over.

Here's to a new year and a new start at Bama......as long as they continue to lose to AU

Kingdom - need to speak with you asap

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Dr.-- Bama looked pretty good in the second half. I thought they were gonna finish the sweet comeback. They could have folded when they got behind..but they didn`t and impressed me. Maybe the whole Shula firing was a mistake, because, the offense wasn`t that much different than in the regular season (other than the Andre Smith TD). Jimmy Johns is gonna be a hell of a RB when he gets the majority of the carries. We shall see!

Headin to the beach! Holla holla holla. Happy New Year everyones.

Lola, we never made the bets. I`ve got a couple of games I would be willing to go after. No spreads, just straight up picks.

Kentucky over Clemson
UGA over Va Tech

I know you love the ACC, so let`s see how they do against my SEC.

ShakeYour$Maker said...

I`m a small stakes kind of guy, so keep that in mind when deciding the wager.

tigernation said...

Anybody here today?

I'm here for another 4 hours 42 minutes and counting....damn i'm ready to leave

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Anybody catch Boise St. and OU last night? Freakin unreal! I have never seen anything like that game in my life. The best game I have seen in a while. Statue of Liberty play for the win.

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Stoops looked like a ghost when he left the field.

I still can not believe that BS tied the game at the end of the 4th after giving the game to OU with about 1 minute left. Crazy as hell!

tigernation said...

I not all that surprised after listening to his reasons for leaving.

Will he win better than Shula? Of course.

Will he come in and win the NC in year 2 like some probably think? Probably not, but it's not out of the question to compete for the SEC.

miss me much? unfortunately have had a family illness and have spent the majority of the past 7 days at the med univ of sc. fun. clemson sucks, yes, they do and i am glad this season is over. one day i'll really tell ya about it, but i just wanted to pop in and say hello. sorry about the bets, shakes. maybe next year. i'm 17-11 this season. not good at all. i'll take lsu tonight, because (and this one is for daddy), there are two things that get smoked in a bowl. marijuana and notre dame. ( i just love that one.)
as for the rest of the games, i'll take cincy and the other ohio school and of course ohio state. florida may prove me wrong, but i don't see it happening. tebow reminds of marmaduke the great dane. hope you all have a great new year, and i will chat with ya'll soon when i get back to nmb and settled. oh yea. sorry dr about the tide and the evil sakerlina fans and congrats to the rest of you for the winner of the cornhuskers. i took the cornhuskers at +2 1/2. dammit.....

dr., is saban really all that? i read the other day he started out under toledo tom. that fucker must be a genius or just always have an open position, because a lot of big names start out with him. will he shake up the situation. i kindof like ole kines. straight up with no bs.

lola said...

has anybody got a tip on tonight?
i'm leaning towards lsu -8.5 and over 56. would appreciate any input...................

ShakeYour$Maker said...

I have totally changed my perception of Nick Saban. I used to like him, and loved him as a coach....but now since he has joined on with the dark side...aka: Satan`s favorite school.....I now consider him in the same categories as Saddam and Hitler.

I know Bama fans think that AU and the rest of the SEC will be scared that UAT finally has a good coach...but Saban hasn`t completely dominated the SEC...or UAB for that fact.

LSU`s record under Saban was 48-16.
There were three seasons where he lost 3 or more games. He lost 5 in his 3rd season, before leading LSU to the NC in his 4th. oh yea, he is 2-3 against Tubby. He is 0-1 against UAB. He also almost lost to UK in 2002, when they scored on the last play, after Wildcat fans had already rushed the field. Looks like he had one lucky run. You can have his ass.

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Oh yea, and he lost like a bitch in the pros with some great players. It will be interesting.

King of Tigerland said...

Instantly a better coach for Bama, although he still has Tennessee level talent.

UF-LSU Top
then AU-UGA
then UA-UTK
then UK-USC
then the state of Miss & Vandy

Saban has now gone to the Dark Side, where he is admired no more.

King of Tigerland said...

LSU rolls by 14 as the Irish fans dont even make it in the Superdome bc they are scared to death of the drunk Cajuns and 4 year old killers!!!!!!!!

King of Tigerland said...

Dr., LSU gets 30+ on that secondary...he must be thinking ND does not score more than 20

King of Tigerland said...

What were the Michigan & USC totals?

King of Tigerland said...

NFL is another animal & Saban wanted more than 1 first round draft choice.

Alhtough a .683 winning percentage is not stellar.

His first recruiting class will be interesting next year. I garuntee all Bama commits get an extra star bc he is coach.

3:1 odds he is gone after year 4

tigernation said...

It's a fact that on Rivals Bama recruits get rated higher (see Kerry Murphy) because they are going to Bama. It gets proven every year and will be proven true again this year. See Ryan Pugh,(6A lineman of the year and a freaking 3 star? and AU commit) with Murphy a backup and a 5 star rated #1 player in alabama that doesn't even start on his own team. THe other DL on that team is Josh Chapman, who Probst says is the best lineman he's ever coached, but he is ranked behind Murphy while starting in front of him.

Rankings are a biased joke but i don't think Saban being the coach will be a reason to increase stars, only the school the recruits are interested in has anything to with that.

King of Tigerland said...

I think Bama is his last job. I don't see it for long though.
