Legends Tour

Two college football greats will be inducted in the Hall of Fame. Bowden and Paterno deserve to go in together.

Smart money says Lebron will join them in his respective hall later on. The Cavs are up on the Pistons 3-2. If they win out, who stops them? The Heat, Spurs or Mavs? Does the winner of the Clips/Suns series have a chance against the winner of the Texas series?

Can Lebron take them all the way?

War Eagles at halftime of NBA basketball. Barkley -"Where is he from? Where is he from? Auburn!" speaking of a dunking Marques Daniels.

Alabama produced Latrell Sprewell. Enough said

I give 3 to 1 odds that Auburn beats Bama in Tuscaloosa. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. 3-1 Spurrier puts up 400 yards of passing against Georgia's young secondary in Columbia. 3-1 Mitch Mustain will be a starter before Tebow and I would not be surprised to see Smiley on the field at USC. The Ol' Ball Coach loves a QB controversy.

I am scared the press will be enamored by a Notre Dame/Ohio State rematch NC game. That is ok as long as they are the only undefeateds. Will the new system ensure that?

Shula has not done it for 3 years so it seams fair at 3 instead of 4 in a row. Forgive me if I am wrong but Cadillac was 3-o in games he played against Bama since I believe he broke his foot after Tubs ran him 40 times at Georgia in 2001 and missed the 31-7 blowout and meteor shower the next week.

To correct Kingdom on the Caddy injury.....The only thing Auburn had going for them coming into the Bama game in 2001 was Caddy. He ran all over the Bama D to begin the game, but was injured during Auburn`s first drive, breaking his collar bone (The next season was the broken leg in Gainesville,FL...the same weekend Nation and I went to Disco Biscuits in Athens). From that point on Daniel Cobb, (C-O-B-B Cobb sux dicks!) did whatever he could to give the game to Bama....He did a little too much as Bama cake-walked to a 31-7 victory in their last Iron Bowl win in recent memory. Let it be known that this was the game I grabbed Noel Mazzone (former OC for the Tigers) by his shirt collar in the tunnel to the locker room (remember I was a Tiger Host...All Access Passes....and yes it ended up being good for something) and told him that "he cost us the game because he was too stupid to come up with a gameplan." He did not even look at me....just kept walking with his head facing forward. He was fired shortly there-after.

Did you go out hardcore last night?

Alright bitches, I'm back.

Dr - I told you that mag was a joke. Now you know why I said we should start a "Daily Football Fix" magazine and preseason preview. Apparently, it takes zero football knowledge whatsoever to put out a preseason mag.

Shakes - Tell me what you think about Chuck's band after you see them. It sounds to me like they are pretty good, form what I have heard.

Daddy - kiss my ass, because you know you really want to.

Kingdom - Nice blog.

- Place 3rd in a golf tourney yesterday. We were 12 under and the winning team was 15 under......

BUT!!! I got Closest to tne Pin on #2. Short par 3 over a lake.....Nation put it within 4 feet. Won 50 bucks and a free round of golf with cart. I'm deadly with the 8 iron

tigernation said...

No daddy, not at all. I just wanted you to really kiss my ass. I just thought you liked kissing boys on the bottom and I was offering my bootom for you to kiss. Not mad at you at all, just looking for a buttkiss

Yeah that music is funny. It reminds me of the circus or an old baseball movie.

nation, you feel like going on the lake next week on your off day?....I have my real estate test on wednesday and after that I would be ready to get out on the water and have some fun before I have to go back to work

{depending on interview schedule....my recruiter told me I had a the World Wide Express DHL sales job If I want it)

King of Tigerland said...

$hakes and Dr.,

Have you felt a difference in business with the interest rate changes?

tigernation said...

I'm not taking an off day on thursday next week because I have that Saturday off. Rob J, his wife and Darrell are coming into town, along with my girl Anna from NYC.

Probably go on the lake that day but I don't know yet. I'll keep you informed.

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Kingdom....I can`t say that the interest rate change has effected us. It probably would effect the Doctor more than myself.

Nation-- I think your brothers band is gonna kick ass. I heard the bass player sucks, but other than that, everyone else can play.

tigernation said...

Yeah, Chuck rips on the bass player every time I see him. He even offered me the bass gig, but I respectfully declined...since I don't play bass.

Everyone check the emali. Nce clip of "la migra".

Charles told me that they are playing a very wide range of songs...

Some Beatles, Johnny Cash, Steve Miller, Allman Bros., Crowes, Panic, The Band, Talkin Heads, etc....

It`s too bad they have the same name as that older band that has been around for a while....IDLEWILD.

King of Tigerland said...

sounds like an auburn band......isn't Idlewild the airport in Goodfellas in new jersey?

tigernation said...

Idlewild South is the name of a venue from the seventies that the Brother's played....and I think they have an album called Idlewild South...i think that's how it goes.

Yeah Shakes, they play a pretty good selection of tunes. I bet they will be damn good.....2 drummers

ShakeYour$Maker said...

Daddy---Yea....I am 99% sure I am going. The 1% that would hold me back is if I pass out before we go. Waiting until 11 to go see a band is pretty late to me now. (Pretty tired at that time) And it doesn`t take but a very small amount of alcohol to get me drunk anymore. But to answer your question....YES I am going.

"I was a patient at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville on July 14, 2005 suffering from congestive heart failure and had a pacemaker/defibrillator that had gone off 6 times in one day, delivering knockout shocks and burning down to my toes. After being stabilized, I was placed in a regular room for observation. I had already been undergoing pre-transplant evaluation for a possible heart transplant and had only two days before been officially placed on the transplant list. I became aware that three of my nurses had received their training and degrees from Auburn and we had exchanged "war eagle" several times during this and prior hospitalizations. On this particular date while eating lunch, a transplant surgeon came into my room and told me to stop eating, that he thought he had me a heart and that it looked good, but it would be about 30 minutes before he would know for sure. Shortly, thereafter these three Auburn-trained nurses came into my room and notified me that it was a go and then began to sing the Auburn fight song, " War Eagle fly down the field, always to conquer, never to yield. War Eagle fearless and true, fight on you orange and blue . . . " It was a truly inspiring moment for me, and one that I will never forget. It led me into a successful heart transplant surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation that has been nothing less than phenomenal.

You mean they didn't come in there with half their teeth yellin "Rowe Tahd! Rowe Tahd Rowe!!"?

The "Tide" of course being a reference to a tie of hated rival Auburn back in the dark ages...not to be confused with a "red tide" or in other words "a sea of rednecks"!!!! Ha HA

I know. Sometimes I even surprise myself.

I mean, these comments just pop into my head. I just have do jab or dig evey chance I get.

It's a character flaw I know....but it can be really funny
