The Eyes of Texas are Upon You

Amazing championship game as USC is denied back to back National Championships. Vince Young is amazing. What in the world was Bush thinking trying to pitch 40 yards down field? Congrats to Tigernation and Big Dog is Gonna Bite for a winning combo. Let us know what you thought about the game and how the season ended. You know the drill.

One of the most amazing collections of talent ever assembled on a football field. VY, Leinart, Bush, & Lendale are Top 10 picks. Heck, Scott, Wright, Jarret, Bing, Baker, & the Texas secondary could all go in the first.

A Texas/Ohio State matchup in the desert next year would be fun.

I hope Bamalamadingdong shows up today. Maybe Leghumper will make a return.

Til the evening.

What a great game....maybe the best I have ever seen...I know for sure it was the most talent I have seen on one field.

Vince Young is sick! I didn`t give him that much credit all year because I thought he didn`t really have too much to compete against in the Big 12. I thought he would choke in the "big one" but he proved me wrong. He took the game over by himself and brought a NC home to Texas. He might have passed Bush for #1 pick if he decides to make the jump.

Yeah, Vince Young is crazy Awesome! I was wrong, again. I have been wrong about most of this season.

Vince will go number one(if he goes), Reggie number 2, jay cutler number 3,and Matt number 4. Lots of QBs.

Who won the pool, or who do I give my 20 to.

tigernation said...

You can send your checks to me boys. Just kidding, I don't know who won.

Vince brought me some MONEY last night. 2 game parlay with Texas and the over baby!

Best single game by a single player ever! I just heard the Texas fans chanting "Best Team Ever!" I assume they were talking to USC!

Damn it is nice to see Linehart and Carroll eat a fat one. Did y'all notice that every time the camera was on the USC sideline that there were 4 or 5 players talking to it. Get in the game you bunch of freaking primadonnas! That's why you lost and I love it.

Give 'em hell Vince!

I know many of you will disagree but Young is the best player in college football. Bush is freaking awesome, but Vince can run AND throw.

The question is though, Did Texas win the game or did USC blow it?

tigernation said...

Texas had more points at the end, therefore they won the game. Texas tried to give it away a number of times. So USC had plenty of chances to put the game away.

Texas stuffed USC on fourth and 2 when they had to. They wanted it more in my opinion.

For once in his career Mack Daddy Brown out coached a great coach. Congrats to Mack.

Every man is a sissy compared to Vince Young

my comment scare everyone today

I'm here all day. I just started feeling like a sissy compared to Vince.

How many days until the first College Football game?

USC did get screwed on some calls that might have been enough to put the game away...but, no replay was used. Why the hell do they even have instant replay in college football if they aren`t going to use it on controversial plays? (Ex. Mich. vs. Nebraska..Texas vs. USC) You take away that TD when Young pitched from his knee and it might make a huge difference in the score, and/or might have sent the game to OT. If they aren`t going to use the replay process properly, they should do away with it. Other than those few calls...it was an excellent game by both teams. Hats off to Mack Daddy Brown. Maybe his brother, Watson, can make a run at an NC next season with the mighty Blazers!

I heard on ESPN that a statement was released today saying that the reason it wasn't reviewed was because the monitor was malfunctioning and was fixed just too late to review the play, they also said that the play would have been overturned. Texas prolly would have scored anyway though.

Dr.Feelgood said...

Yeah but Texas had an interception that should have been reviewed. The bad calls I feel evened out.

Go BLAZERSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shakeyour$maker said...

Dr.-Not really evened out. USC caused a fumble after a catch that would have sealed the deal, but was not reviewed. Seven calls were reviewed, 3 were not. 2 against (hurt) USC and 1 against (hurt) Texas. One of those 2 against USC gave UT 7 points that might have been changed to 3 or even 0 if it had been reviewed. I don`t really care...but I think it sucks they don`t use the technology they have.

shakeyour$maker said...

Once those bastards saw the machine malfunction...they should have gone over to the ABC booth to check out the play on replay. That is no excuse for not reviewing the play.

Dr.Feelgood said...

The highlight of the game was definitely Leeann Rimes star spangled banner

I thought it was the nut sack grab by the USC Band during halftime while playing MJ`s "Beat It." Gwin and I thought that those sax players that gave a yank on their weens would get in trouble for doing that right in front of the camera. I guess grabing dick is a little bit more tasteful than Janet Jackson showing tit.

Dr.Feelgood said...

Did it remind you of your days on the clarinet with Johnny Sudduth and Big Poppa Craig Bain??

shakeyour$maker said...

Dr. Bitch

It reminded me of the days when we used to go to games and watch you on the flag corps at halftime marching for the Yellow Jacket Marching Band. You were great as the only male member of the group, known to the whole school as "Flaggot." You and your girlfriend Michelle Blake were co-flags with Mrs. Big-Mamma Bain as your director. Those were the days.

Dr.Feelgood said...

We used to love to double date with you and Amber Bethune

Daddy said...

I thought yall triple dated with craig bain and ashley cornelius.

Dr.Feelgood said...

quad dated with you and Jessica Lloyd

#3 for life

Daddy said...

At least the intimidator gave it up!

shakeyour$maker said...

Wow...y`all are pulling some of these names out of the woodwork. Jessica Lloyd??? I can`t believe y`all even remember her! I guess it`s hard to forget someone that wore a #3 Intimidator jersey to school every other day.

Besides the game, it was awesome. We Disneyed it up all weekend. Felt like a kid, it was fun.

Dr.Feelgood said...

how was orlando

Dr.Feelgood said...

yeah i want to take an orlando trip. i haven't been since i was a child

tigernation said...

I got some real good booty shaking pics from Mako's in orlando that I will send in an email.

These bartenders and shot girls just got on the bar and shook it about every ten minutes. It was awesome!

Was I the only one pulling for Texas? I know shakes is a USC fan but I didn't think I was alone.

Dr.Feelgood said...

I was pulling for the horns. Matter of fact, I dumped a beer over jumping off the couch the last TD.

I really just didn't think Texas could pull it out, but I did not want to hear the bullshit of the greatest team ever.

tigernation said...

McClover just announced he is forgoing his senior year and going Pro.

I think it is a huge mistake on his part, but I wish him the best. I just don't see him going very high if at all. He could have stayed and laid a foundation for a high pick.

tigernation said...

Yeah, I was sick of that "best of all time" shit also.

Your point yesterday about them never having to play LSU or Auburn said it all. No way they were the best of all time and Texas proved it.

I guess ESPN feels a little stupid after running all of those "who would win" polls. F-USC!

Dr.Feelgood said...

Yeah I genuinely think the best team of our lifetime was 1995 Nebraska

Interesting fact here: Espn writer says Brodie could slip into the 2nd round

King of Tigerland said...

Pat Forde also ranked AU preseason #12 bc of their great secondary. Let us be realistic about a QB who cannot stay healthy or beat Auburn.

I like Miami of 2001.
