Walk with the Animals

Well, here are some pics from our walk through the month of March with the animals of Atlanta.......the caged animals i should say. As you know I was pumped about my Saturday night in a fine hotel accompanied by a fat steak, followed by a day at the Ga Aquarium. Well, it didn't turn out quite like I had planned. Got a stomach bug right before dinner on Saturday, which led to a violent episode in the bathroom of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. This, my friends, was the beginning of the end. I was up all night in the bathroom unable to enjoy the "heavenly bed" that the Westin is so famous for. So we get up Sunday and after a stop at the IHOP (which i forced down)we headed down to the Aquarium.
Downtown was slammed with Final Four goers and a free concert at Centennial Park. Despite the rain and the crowds it was a pretty good time. Took 3 hours to get home from the ATL due to the closing of I-985 after a dual-fatality accident. So, needless to say, i was still sick when I got home and went straight to bed.
The weekend could have been better, but I guess it also could have been much worse.
Anybody else got some good weekend stories? Dr, any near arrests? Shakes, how was the wedding that you enjoyed from the comfort of the Tahoe? Daddy, King, lola, larry? Anybody got some goodies?

wedding from the tahoe, $?

Q? Who wears a blood red shirt to a wedding? Apparently one of our friends dressed her bf up in it last weekend. Well, I found out that the terrible bf had already made a comment about heather, Trey's new wife, so I took it upon myself to ban him from my house and made her cry in the process when I asked, "Why in the hell would you dress him in something so hideous, obnoxious and disrespectful? That is like wearing searsucker to a funeral!!"Needless to say, I need to start smokin again so I am not as honest or drunk all the damn tine. I was channelling Nation through me apparently. That is my story and then working all weekend at the pub.

Channeling nation? Are you saying that i'm too honest and obnoxious? Well you would be correct, but you know what i say? Fuck it, if you don't want to hear it, don't ask me or draw attention to yourself in a negative way.

Sorry, still a little ill in my tummy from the weekend.

Amen, nation, I seem to have caught a bit of the bug as well sunday. Or maybe it is just my lifestyle lately.

Ha ha, yeah that lifestyle can lend itself to stomach aches.

about smoking, i had quit for quite a while. Well, my lovely gf decided to surprise me with a sackajaweeya at the hotel so i guess i'm off the wagon for a few days. She knows how to make me smile i guess....ha ha

wilbur is now the fashion police. omg.
i worked all weekend. for some reason the er turns into a daycare for drunk children at midnight. more vomit than i care to see. but i held their heads and told them that they would survive. it has been like the first week after seniors graduate from high school. alcohol levels in the 400's. covered in vomit, sand and sandspurs. frantic parents calling from out of town.

however today made up for it. 84 and sunny at augusta national. honestly, nothing beats drinking beer on a beautiful sunny (until the clouds rolled in) day outdoors, watching sergio garcia who is not bad to look at, on a nice course.
i sound a little giddy but it has rained the last two times i have gone.
i am so tired, i forgot to get dog food on the way home. i ordered us a pizza. jackson actually uses his paws to eat his. savannah inhales hers.
met a guy last night who is from birmingham and is also a war eagle. you people are freaking everywhere.
