Alabama finally emerged from the shadow of NCAA violations today. The darkest period of their football life is over. Actually, we will wait until they beat Auburn for that. The most serious infractions since SMU recieved the death penalty. Essentially, this means no more excuses. Although I do find it amusing that Mal Moore said Alabama followed the spirit of the probabtion, yet thumbed their nose at a postseason ban to get beat by Hawaii, in Hawaii. The Tide lost to the then, Rainbow Warriors.

Lousiana has not been so kind to Satan recently. High school coaches telling him to leave their players alone, Super Joe McKnight, who no reasonable person thought would go to Bama, will not take a visit even though every Bama rivals.com member voted he would & "coonass". I don't have a problem with what he said, just his arrogance to believe a controversial subject caught on tape would never see the light of day.
Recruiting against Auburn is a wee tougher than against Tulane, huh, Nick?
To all the Bammers who accuse Tubs of dropping FSU, why did Bama drop both Notre Dame and Penn State. Cairo????? What do you have to say, Cairo?????
